Our Bradford Base
This is the heart of our Bookfest sorting and also the host venue for three huge sales a year too.

Parking
Parking immediately outside the bookfest unit is limited and is reserved for disabled people and for customers to bring their vehicles in to collect their orders. There is parking all along Albion Road and a large carpark at the top of the site

Buses
There is a bus stop right outside the bookfest unit, if you're coming from Leeds City Centre or from Keighley direction then the number 60 stops here.
Coming from Bradford City Centre the 640 and 641 both stop a little higher up Albion Road and then it's a short walk to the bookfest.
Trains
Apperley Bridge station is the closest and is a 25 minute walk away or the A2 bus will get you to within a 5 minute walk.
Airport
Leeds/Bradford airport is a 17 minute drive away or the A2 bus will bring you to within a 5 minute walk.

We can take payment by Cash, Card or Mobile Phone
Delivery
If you want to come and buy lots of books but aren't sure how you'll get them home then we can do shipping at cost for you: £6 for 20kgs!
The Magic of Our Pop-up Sales
UK Bookfest is more than just a sale—it's wonderful to see people of different ages, backgrounds and interests all united in their love of books. We move around the UK to host massive, temporary book havens. From wedding suites to empty warehouses, our mission is to make great literature accessible, affordable, and exciting for everyone.
How it Works
Adult Book Prices
Thursday – £3 a book
Friday – £3 a book
Saturday – £2 a book
Sunday – £2 a book
Monday – £1 a book
Tuesday – £1 a book or fill a bag for £10!
Children's Book Prices
Because we want as many children as possible to have access to books, children’s books are:
£1 each for the whole sale, and
Fill‑a‑bag for £10 on the last day as well.
How you can pay
We accept Cash, Card and Mobile Phone payment.

Our books are sorted into categories to help you find what you want, including:

At UK Bookfest our aim is to get as many books out to people as possible at affordable prices.
Our used sales usually last for 6-8 days and details can be found below.
Donating Books
We accept donations of any books at our book sales, or if you live in West Yorkshire you can drop books off at our Albion Mills warehouse at any time.
If you have a large number of books to donate, we may be able to collect them from you – just get in touch and we’ll see what we can do:
